Situated on the elegant Pařížská Street, across the road from Barock restaurant, Pravda boasts an atmosphere and specialties that are inspired by culinary art from around the world. Pravda is a cosmopolitan restaurant, which will attract you with its combination of attractive interior, delicate dishes and professional staff. The stunning building in which Pravda is located is set amongst the richly decorated houses and luxurious shops of the elegant boulevard of Pařížská. The building was designed by the architects Richard Klenka and Frantisek Weyer in 1906 and it's dominant feature is the tower, which connects a curved

corner with a balconied portico. The building's façade is a show of over-elaborate and embellished elements including richly gilded stucco, sculptured beams, mosaics and imitation marble. In short, a must see! Reconstruction of the façade has recently been completed and the façade is back to its former glory, creating a striking pose on Pařížská Street. A real feast for the eyes. However that isn't the only thing that will attract you to Pravda. The restaurant showcases a striking minimalist interior with neo-gothic elements. The look of the restaurant was inspired by two famous people. The innovative interior design is the work of Danish architect Jes Edvards, with crystal chandeliers gleaming from the decorative stucco of the walls, coupled with the pure white tablecloths and chairs, creating a distinguished neo-gothic feel. And there's no doubt that the one, sole painting hanging in the restaurant will catch your eye. Painted by the Yugoslav, Pedja Djakovič, the painting is called, simply, Pravda (truth). Taking its inspiration from the tenderness and bravery of the velvet revolution, the painting reflects a new age and set amongst a mirrored wall, it completes the interior of the restaurant. With such pleasure for your eyes Pravda also provides you with pleasures for your taste buds. Choose from an international menu, which consists of specialities inspired by many culinary schools of the world. If you're a fan of Asian cuisine, why not try the Tom Yam soup or the Indonesian shrimp wok?
